yes, plastidip is the answer unless you want like a carbon fiber pattern or something.
i've been plastidip spraying all the chrome on my cars for years why would you do it any other way it's completely reversible for when you go to sell it or trade it it protects the chrome it doesn't leave a residue I mean I can go on and on
it's crazy how 20 people have commented on this thread and nobody has any idea about blacking out chrome in 2019 /since 2012
