Granted I haven't seen the M5's aluminum in person (I will tomorrow though, so I can report back if desired), but from what I've seen in pics I just don't like it much at all.
Thanks for the detailed, thoughtful response. Let me know if you change your mind about the aluminum trim after you see it in person. I saw it at the New York Auto Show and was surprised how much better it looked in person than in the photographs.
