Thing is that as long as it's allowed by the rules, wet skidpad or dry doesn't matter for the purposes of setting the record. Also I don't think any set of tires would last 51 miles of drifting on a dry surface.

To me this is a testament to the driver more than the car. Being able to keep it drifting for that long ... damn.
