My car is at the dealer right now for a brake issue and they are trying to update the software AGAIN (just done in August as a recall). They said it didn't take in August (yeah right) and have to do it again. I think they're fishing for a tune (because my car has other mods) that isn't even there.
I asked them about the fuel pump recall and they are getting flooded with calls. They said that the ABC show was suppose to air next week, but the station moved it up a week, so BMW had to scramble to get a press release out.
No plan has even gone into effect, the recall notice is just to acknowledge the problem as a recall. No idea what they are going to do.
Will probably be a long time before anything happens.
