My two cents on the delay...
Yes it could have started sooner. First Red Flag to change tires, I still do not get. The race was declared "Wet " at the start.
If they wanted the track dry....
Track vehicles and sweepers could have had it done much sooner.
Asking us a Marshals (2 per station) to sweep with brooms!
(pushing a rock up hill with a straw).....
But I do not get paid to think!
