Increasing 100-150 hp will be very expensive as headers alone cost a ton and and full exhausts will yield very little power. You might end up spending 6-8k for 100 whp.

When it comes to the e39, i am a purist at heart. Maybe some springs and spacers to improve stance and better looking muffler tips+ xpipe for sound.

Better off saying, I'd be interested in buying a decent mileage M5 (under 175mi) that is salvaged or could use some work. I could always resell it if I bought a bud, I could flip it, or I could ultimately keep it as my new baby.
Reason I'd like an e39 is because of the low price (just got the AMG, close to broke), iconic looks, & "M5". Even though I know the e46 M3 far better mechanically & interior wise.. |
This is my 4th e39 and second e39 m5. The first e39 m5 i did just that. Bring it back from the dead.
There are only about 8 in my entire country. And I had two.
