I don't know the car market in Slovakia, but getting such a low trade-in offer from a BMW dealer here in the US would set a new precedent for dealer sleaziness. If a US BMW dealer buys a 2013 M5 at 40% of original MSRP they stand to double their money.
I believe stealth pilot did Euro Delivery on his car, and I believe he purchased it (instead of leasing). So getting 80% back after a year sounds very realistic.
