You can fit the f90 HPFP's without changing software. Yes the f90 pump makes more pressure, but there is a regulator so the rail pressure, and therefore injected quantity will remain the same.
On a tuned car, at high load and high RPM's the f10 pumps can find their limit, the f90 pump stops things from tailing off if that makes sense.
