Thanks guys! It was definitely a long wait! My CA told me that the CEO of BMW ordered all cars at the Brunswick port to be shipped out prior to hurricane Isaac, hence me getting mine earlier that expected.

I'm not disappointed, but being honest. I did get to drive around for an hour today, before Isaac headed this way for the next few days. As far as accelerating smoothly from a standstill, I did achieve it a few times. Apparently there is a technique, which required barely easing into the throttle. The exact pressure is something that has to be learned firsthand.

I'm going to adhere somewhat to the break in procedure of keeping the rev's under 5.5k. This really isn't that hard as there is so much torque, you hardly need to go over that limit.

Another observation today is that at lower speeds while accelerating, the exhaust sounds extremely identical to the older Subaru Impreza WRX's with the turbo 4 cylinder. Honestly, not very fond.

Can't wait to put some more time into it!
