BMW dropped the ball on the original car, they panicked and had to introduce a comp package to make up for it.
This package should be available to all first year M5 buyers as a retrofit at its MSRP.
I'll probably write BMW a letter. So much for buying first year M3/M4. It looks like you have to wait for reviews instead of trusting that BMW will come out with a great product off the bat.
