Final official numbers have been released on the Manhart Manhart Racing MH5 S Biturbo F10 M5 and it comes in at an impressive 646 HP (475 kW) and 570 lb-ft (773 Nm) torque [a +86hp / +68 lb-ft gain over stock] . Top speed is now 196 mph (316 km/h).

All this power is generated from its ECU software tune, MHR carbon fiber air intake system, downpipes (can be ordered with catalytic converters) and sports exhaust system with 90mm tail pipes (video below).

This particular MH5 S M5 is wrapped in matte grey vinyl and adorned with a carbon fiber body kit which includes a front spoiler lip, GTR vented hood, rear diffuser and trunk spoiler.

The car sits on KW Clubsport coilovers and debuts at the 2012 Essen Motor Show taking place from December 1-9, 2012.

Manhart MH5 S Biturbo: The noble Stealth Fighter

Following the display of the reworked version of the current BMW M5 by the performance specialists of Manhart Racing from Wuppertal shortly after its presentation, the BMW refining specialists have now uncovered a second upgrade level of their MH5 S Biturbo – visually and technically more impressive than ever before!

The big M5 will definitely not be a real lightweight racing car but the performance specialists of Manhart Racing hold the views that: “Every single gram shed in weight reduction counts!“ This is the reason that the in-house aerodynamic components of the MH5 S Biturbo are made of ultra-light but high-strength carbon. The catchy nose of the vehicle is decorated with an MHR front spoiler, whose rear counterpart is found in an MHR rear diffuser and rear spoiler. Moreover, the engine hood was manufactured with integrated GTR air intake systems made of carbon. The entire bodywork was finally covered in a full grey-matt metallic wrapping with decorative MHR stripes, which gives the MH5 S Biturbo a touch of Stealth Fighter looks.

Turning in the wheel houses of the limousine are MHR08 Deep Concave by ADV.1 wheels that are perfectly fitted in design as well as in their dimensions. The three-part rims of sizes 9.5 x 21 inches (front) and 10.5 x 21 inches (rear) are covered by high-performance tires of the dimensions 265/30ZR21 and 305/25ZR21. To ensure that all wheels constantly have the optimal road contact, Manhart Racing installed the fully adjustable MHR by KW Clubsport chassis frame with the company's own alignment. The chassis frame can be adjusted separately in compression and rebound stages as well as with high-performance racing springs. Moreover, Manhart Racing also constructed performance-optimized racing drive-shaft support systems.By this means, the BMW specialists are able to guarantee excellent handling, best performance, highest level of agility and excellent cornering.

Manhart Racing also worked once again on the software and the periphery of the 4.4 litre Biturbo driving mechanism in such a way that the datasheet now has an impressive 646 horse power and a maximum torque of 773 Nm. Following the removal of the electronic speed retarder, the MH5 S Biturbo runs in this performance stage at up to 316 km/h.

The MHR Carbon Air Intake System does not only play its own part in boosting performance but also gives the engine compartment an extremely enticing outward appearance. The so-called blow-off noise that emerges while the system is being rid of excess pressure from the turbo chargers is a source of real pleasure for the driver himself during deceleration. Moreover, the MHR sporty end-silencer made of high-grade steel with two 90 millimetre twin tail pipes right and left respectively, gives the Biturbo-V8 a catchy and an exceedingly impressive “voice“ controlling the complete dynamic portfolio from mild piano up until the roaring fortissimo thanks to the valve control system. Additionally, MHR downpipes can also be supplied optionally without catalytic converter.
