If the specs match BMW's specs and or on the approved list then you should be good to go. Note BMW can't hold the oil against you if it matches their specs same with spare/service parts - they don't have to be OEM.
Ask which oil is best or to use is going to make for another long and opinionated thread not base in engineering or science!

Thanks. That is all I care about. He has Kendall at his shop and as long as the weight is correct I should be good to go given my car is CPO, I don't want to give those arrogant pricks at my dealership a reason to void me.
