Did you respond regarding whether you can push in on the bubble and it pops back? Or is it a hard lump?

Its a hard lump which makes me think their explanation stacks up...Ie something from behind the bumper caused it during some form of impact
Ultimately though....I guess if its a paint problem, it will just get worse with time
