Oil consumption
I have read a lot about higher oil consumption on M5s compared to regular 5series BMW.
I have driven my M5 now for 8 months and 19.000 kms (12.000 miles) and have not yet refilled any oil. It's my daily driver so most of the times I behave ;-) No racetrack use.
Also the wear on the tires is much lower compared to a previous 530d.
So overall the car was the perfect choice.
