They probably figured out a way to get turbos which are a little bigger than the stock ones in there. The m3 motor was rated at 414hp so it can definitely be achieved easily while keeping the turbos very efficient.

These engines and turbos are overengineered. I am sure there are plenty of psi's to play around with before it can seriously become dangerous for the car. I think there will be tunes to around 700 horses within a year.
