Since it's a lease, you don't have to worry about that at lease end. You just turn it in, whether it drives the same or not. It's not like you're selling it, you're essentially renting the car for the lease term. If you bought the car outright or financed it, I think you might have a case if there are problems. Although, I'm not convinced that getting a brand new engine is a bad thing at all. I do know that BMW is finicky about about early lease release unless it's within one of their 3-6 mos promos. And that's if you're getting another BMW or you have a documented problem.
