I tracked my E36 all the time, I tracked my E92 once. After that I felt it simply wasnt cut out for the track and never went back with it.
The M3 is made for bombing down mountain roads, the M5 is made for eating highway miles. Both are fun and capable on the track, but neither are made for it.
I guess I just want the right tool for the job, rather than a multi-tool.

Agree to disagree. I own both e92m3 and f10. So no bias here. I have tracked the e92 as well as the e46 m3s
