I feel your pain man. No girl has commented or glanced at my car anywhere. My GF, of all people, doesn't like my car either. The few comments I get occasionally from older enthusiasts/admiring looks from other BMW drivers make up for it
My last car attracted too much attention from the wrong people anyways, glad I can be subdued and noticed at the same time.
