Any type of "Tune" regardless of piggy back setup or a flash needs to be adapted to the vehicle.
With Dinan, BMS or any tune you do not need to remove for regular service.
Because your going in just for service.
Now, if you have a drivability concern you may want to think about removing it. But with Dinan you should have no issues at all.
Most BMW dealerships are Dinan dealers, so you're covered regardless.
