This was exactly my thought.

I like the idea, but in practice I feel I would rather have something to show for with my money. I want my car so I can do with my car as I want. This sounds like a lease that will give me mileage stipulations and no room to modify as I tend to do. As someone mentioned earlier, it would be cool to swap through the lineup pending the seasons, however.

I'm also curious how this will affect current lease residual values during the transition period.
