Apparently several lawsuits were filed and the feature no longer available or implemented. This "warning" is just what is put in place of instead. For whatever reason it only appears when the ambient temp is low and the oil filter bypass valves have closed and are then again opened within 30mins approx.
So you don't see this warning in the summer?
Home is Miami where all we have is 360 days of summer and 5 days of not as hot. It's only when I've driven to cold climates in winter that I've seen it appear and only after a drive long enough to make the oil temp move a tiny bit, shut down, then return quickly and restart.

S63 has oil filter bypass valves that activate when the oil temp/ambient temp is below a certain point to ensure proper lubrication of critical components.
