1. Does my car need an ECU tune in order to reap the benefits of the modifications?

The ECU will adjust; however, you would benefit the most if you had a full tune.

2. Without an ECU tune, is it possible the modifications are damaging to the motor?

100% NOT

3. What are other preformance modifications that I can add that would go great with the exhaust and intake that won't void my warranty? (any recommended after my warranty is ended?)

It really depends on how friendly you are with the dealer. Catless downpipes will provide the most amount of hp and tq, but then again most dealers would not like it if you brought your car in for warranty work. I have a friendly SA who overlooks the CEL caused by catless downpipes.
You can do bunch of piggy back maps that are available on the market as well.
