The four large bolts which attach the front sway bar brackets are also important to the steering. They hold the steering gear to the front axle carrier, and are torqued to 100Nm (74 ft pounds) with a large 105 degree rotation after the torque value is reached. It's not a difficult install, but I suppose it could be goofed up by somebody. Unfortunately there's a lot of unwrapping to do to check those bolts.
You won't get a different steering feel in normal driving (at least from my experience when changing to the M5 CP FSWB). But when driving hard/on the limit, I would definitely say that the steering feel is different in the sense you get more feedback from the front tires and have a much better sense of how the front tires load up during hard cornering. It gives much more confidence and feel for the limits of adhesion from the front tires.

I guess the difference might be less going from a M5 FSWB to a M5 CP FSWb, but those that have upgraded to a CP FSWB seems to report similar experiences.
