It's no big deal. You'll be fine. When I had 900 miles on my car I took a road trip up to Vegas, from Phoenix. I asked my service advisor if I should come in early for the 1,200 appointment or come in late. Round trip was about 500 miles and they said to come in late.
I had mine done at 1,400 miles.
Of course, I also pushed my car a bit
during the break in service, so that makes me "one of those people".
