There were a lot of great reasons to buy a used m5, especially when it comes to a depreciating asset. The best cars are usually cars that are at least 2 years old and less than 20K miles.
However I think its a poor idea to buy a car that is less than 1 year. But I would consider the number of limited M5 built for the market. Usually they are not lease returns and I would wonder why the owner would give up car less than 1 year to eat all that depreciation. I was thinking those cars could have some kind of problem: lemon, buyback, loaner, etc.
