100% true... Whenever someone is deciding if they should purchase one of my cars I always explain to them that the right car is paramount to any other factor in the purchase. There is no such thing as a good deal if it's the wrong car. Secondly, if you ask anyone who loves their car what exactly they love or loved about it they never say "I saved a couple hundred more by not getting the exact options I wanted"; the price of the vehicle is soon forgotten once the ownership experience begins. The latter is far longer than the former. I would focus my efforts on finding the right car and not the right deal. Numbers can always be worked out or settled upon but you only find what you want a couple of times.
