Been trying to confirm this... dont really need the snap-in otherwise.. after buying one for a 3 and one for a 4, I dont want to waste anymore money one for a iphone 5 since it will inevitably become obsolete.
I already have a spare ipod and ipod cables ready to take.
Some have said the Euro maps come preloaded so no thumb drive, and I think someone said their map thumbdrive actually went in the glovebox port.
