If you guys all want a manual then you would need to get 3 of your friends who will already be buying an M5 to also get one in a manual. Even then, you have to understand who the BULK of the buyers of BMW's are. They are not forum members or BMWCCA members. They are the silent majority in these conversations. Also the M5 is no longer a hardcore sports car. Its not a larger M3. If you want a true sports sedan then the M3 is the way to go. As the BMW spokesman said the M3 will always have a manual because it fits the character of the car.
