Tips are for cosmetic purposes only... it will not change the tone or sound at all.
We are able to make titanium or stainless tips to slide over the factory inlet pipes...didnt know the factory tips came off so easily
Let me know which finish you guys prefer and if there is enough demand it can be done. As far as carbon tips go it will be a bit trickier so give me another few more days to see if its doable
