Sort of agree. BMW has offered a comp pack on the M3 as an option for a long time. They are just bringing the option to the M5/6. I do think they should have brought it out at the time of the initial release of the car so those that did want the options could have chosen to have them and not be left having to ponder trading their cars to get them or convincing themselves that they don't need/want it. This is typical for BMW. Rarely is the competition package a launch option. It's added to later years.. and it always works to get some customers to upgrade, as well as to keep things interesting for new customers that haven't taken the plunge yet. I'm actually surprised they've added a competition package so early in the lifecycle.
