When you floor the pedal and released it after 5000 +revs, you hear an explosion-like sound on stock exhaust. That same explosion sound was actually uncomfortable for me in stock version, I got used to doing it once in a while for fun but once I did it in a tunnel the fart sounded like a gunshot with all the resonance.
I don't recall any noticeable downshift sounds on M5 F10, especially compared to M5 E60's.
