Solution for crackling sound
I sometimes have the same problem as described in this thread.
I think I have a solution for this.
Before you shut down the car, make sure you switch to FM-radio, so that when you start your car the next time, FM-radio will turn on again.
I never had any crackling sounds when I start my car with FM-radio.
You can then switch to another audio source without any problems.
The problem only exists when another audio source is active upon startup.
I hope this will work for you guys too.
