Just got my hands on a 2014 Black M6 Comp package, looking for entry level power advice.

Thinking tune and downpipes.

Would my best option be a stacked tune with the dp's? or just a straight tune with dp's?
It matters what your are trying to achieve.

Your best bang for the buck is a straight tune and Downpipes. I tell this to everybody. You will be around 650-670whp with this setup while keeping the drivability of the car very close to stock.

I would only recommend a stack if you intend on doing turbos, clutch (if DCT), axels and meth. The reason for this is because you can flash the car once and use the jb4 to get you the additional power as you add all these components.
