The cost of a BMW 520i in Taiwan is $2,540,000 NT which is @ $84,650 USD. A M5 will run you $6,890,000 NT which is @ $229,600 USD.

With a new luxury tax in place just last year, all cars that cost $3 million NT or @ $100,000 USD will incur an additional 15% tax. So, the cost of nice imports in Taiwan are very high compared to the US.
