My 15" MacBook Pro is on its last leg. It's 5.5 years old now, and has served me well. I'm looking for a replacement, and I can't decide between a 13" MacBook Air or the 13" MacBook Pro.
The Air has 4gb RAM and a 256gb SSD, whereas the Pro will be upgraded to 8gb RAM and 256gb SSD. I think the Pro has a dedicated video card, and is slightly faster as well. But, the Air is lighter. What would you do?
I forgot to add... it will essentially be my workhorse for internet, PS, LR3, word-processing, etc. Downgrading from a 15" to a 13" worries me, but the 15" is just so damn heavy to carry back and forth from work every day. Plus, at work I have an external 23" display I can use.
