2013 BMW ///M5  [0.00]
I live in the northeast and have to say I only considered the M5 because I take the ferry to Manhattan and dont have to drive daily. However, this winter has been harsh with freezing temps and a lot of snow. Ive now driven on three occaisions in light snow, then moderate unplowed snow, and ice and I am VERY impressed with how the M5 handles. I have the Blizzak LM60s.

This experience has really opened my eyes to how many cars can be very capable if equipped with the "right set of rubbers". I am by no means an experienced winter driver, but definitely way more capable than those down in Hotlanta. I just try to be very cautious and start off in 2nd gear as opposed to 1st in snow or ice. I wish BMW had left this winter mode which I had in my e46 M3 SMG, starting off in 2nd gear. I noticed in the F10 that if you are on an incline, it wont permit u to shift and start off in 2nd.
