Peronally, I would not use this as a daily driver if that daily drive involves snow and ice conditions with any frequency. Having to deal with light snow occasionally would not stop me if I had proper winter rubber. Living in the Northeast, I would want some form of 4x4 (even a beater Subaru or something) as an alternative when the roads turn more difficult.

Yes, Im not very happy about my car being caked in salt and dirt right now, hesitant to take it to the hand wash even. Glad I got Opti though.
