There is a depreciation hit, but I think if the overall difference is not bad in terms of payments, I would do it. That's the dilemma I'm in. I plan to test the waters this November/December when BMW usually offers great incentives.
BTW, when I recently asked my dealer about my trade-in, they quoted me 80K (after bargaining) for '13 M5 executive pkg, B&O, full leather, 20 in wheels.
