I would be happy to gain 150 lbs to get AWD in the midwest. The 2014 E63 will still be about 180 lbs light than the M5. (2013 E63 curb weight 4050#, F10 M5 Curb weight 4385#).

Weight gain is never good, but when put in perspective, the added weight coupled with AWD and an increase in HP and TQ make the 2014 E63 faster in nearly every regard than the 2013...

I fall into the camp that wished BMW would make an AWD M5 since I need to make it to work regardless of the weather and I can't really have two cars. Yes, I know, snow tires, but I would prefer AWD AND snow tires. (Belt and suspenders )
