Window sealant

I've been using Wolf's Glass Guard on my M5. I applied a single coating in accordance with the youtube video instructions.

I am finding it works, but doesn't work as well as Aquapel did on my previous car. The smaller water particles behave as before and form a thin layer over the windshield, but the larger particles are beading and moving off. The Aquapel seemed to repel water more effectively and water would flow off at lower speeds.

What should I do next?
1) Apply more wolf's glass guard and work it in more?
2) Apply Aquapel (with or without removing the Wolf's glass guard)?
3) Try something else?
