I hear ya... But I just don't consider the M5 a 'sports car'. To me a sports car is 911, Corvette, M6, GTR, Aston Martin, Ferrari, etc... Two-doors.
Once you add the 3rd and 4th doors it's no longer a 'sports car' in my book. Furthermore, when you add all the weight via creature comforts (vs go-fast parts) it definitely isn't a sports car IMO.
