Just a thought did you have the BMW winter rims and tires put on the car could that be causing a problem ?
I had mine put on the other day and only drove home but noticed a heavier feel in the steering thought it was the Pirelli winter tires.

Yes, today I put Pirelli Sottozero because of heavy snow (OEM winter set). I haven't tried doing donuts or extensively drifting on summer tires so I can't compare to the past.

This was the most dangerous issue I've seen with this car so far.
