Pretty sure that was tried once and then 'the south' was made 1-dimensional on the issue of slavery but all other states rights vs federal issues that also caused the act of separation were swept under the rug.
Not saying freedom from slavery wasn't worth having a war over to remove, but I am saying there were other issue involved that were equally compelling and that some of this government-in-the-pockets crap would have the original people that fought in the revolutionary war rolling over in their graves.
PS For those that get a little too fixated/sidetracked, I am NOT saying waiting on a car is an equivalent issue to a civil/revolutionary war or slavery.
