I have an MXS7000 that is close to 15 years old now, and 3 years ago I got a MXS 10 in addition.
I used the MXS7000 for my dual battery 8-series during winter storage, but changed to the MXS 10 3 years ago, I use the MSX 7000 for my motorcycle.
I have also used both to charge the M5 occasionally, best chargers I've ever had.

Even 'healthy' M batteries need a top up at least once a month especially if the car is not used often,replacing them is no joke on the wallet with the coding required which is a pain and only one type of AGM is suitable, cheaper non standard batteries will not be up to the job.
