I clean the leather with a micro fiber cloth and a bucket of warm water solution with a couple drops of Dawn soap to remove stains (ring the cloth until it's damp). Once dried, apply BMW Leather Conditioner and wife off the excess with a dry micro fiber cloth. Once the leather conditioner is on, stains wipes off much easier.
I choose BMW brand leather conditioner to eliminate the risk on staining or ruining my leather.
