Patience, time, a couple of full buckets of clean water and the below. The Sonax is the key. May take a couple of applications. Use brushes that don't have exposed metal parts that could scratch the finish. The other key is to do it frequently (with every wash) and either optic coat (when clean, once) or wax (after each wash).
Simply spraying won't do the trick - also, make yourself comfortable. You can't rush this process. At the end of the day, the wheels and the windshield are like a nice pair of shoes and a belt...make the outfit.
