Wrong, wrong, wrong.

I'm on 20-inch Dunlop SP Winter Sports and I do just fine in the snow. Easy on the throttle and it's all good. With good winter tires will have more traction than your average SUV driving around on all-seasons.

Of course, if the snow gets deep enough, the M5 is too low to drive, but that's a totally different issue and one you don't see much in the Northeast where 4-5 inches tends to shut down all the roads anyway.
