The poll doesn't matter because this website is not a true population of M5 buyers to begin with.

And BMW has done its own poll already - the sales of the e60 M5 MT, which if this announcement is any proof (and I believe it is) must have been at least decent.

Besides, why are you so concerned with BMW turning the maximum profit? Or are you just afraid your dream M5 will be on the dealer lot offered in a transmission you are not capable of driving?
