Man, just went through this exact process, and then some. Long story short, diff mount broke, damaged diff, axles, drive shaft and gas tank. 2 months later, I have it back and doing my 1200 mile break in period. Total cost, $16k from a dealer. My cost, $500 for insurance deductible.
