Had same issue with 2 cars 550i Dinan 2012 and they changed all injectors and spark plugs but that gave me Drive Train Malfunction and was really rough and shaky engine idle.
While sadly today in my M5 for about 10 minutes I would say lack of power... I would push gas pedal all way to 80% and RPM won't go even above 1.5k with D2 or even D3 and I turned the engine off in the middle of the road a couple of times and at the 2nd time came back on as if nothing ever happened!!
Is my nearby Shell 93 gas that bad?
